Unique Fact(s): I love to travel, paragluide, dive, and dance.
I’m a proud Rhode Island native, and it’s always been my goal to return home and serve the community that raised me. I work as a hospitalist at South County Hospital, where I serve as Secretary/Treasurer of the Medical Staff, Chair of Peer Review, and an active member of the Medical Executive and Scholarship Committees. I’m dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care to our community and passionate about advancing patient safety and quality improvement. Before medicine, I was a geologist specializing in geothermobarometry—the study of temperature and pressure in rocks. I like to say I went from studying stones to treating kidney stones. During residency, I also worked as the track doctor at Penn National Racecourse, providing emergency medical care to jockeys after on-track injuries to help support myself through training. Now in Saunderstown, life is joyfully full with my husband Nathan, our three-year-old daughter Tinsley, Gigi the Bernedoodle, and our flock of specialty chickens, including fluffy silkies who sometimes wander inside and behave more like lap dogs than poultry. Tinsley keeps us laughing and reminds me daily how much fun it is to see the world through a child’s eyes. We love gardening, golfing, boating, exploring a new national park each year, and cheering for Providence College basketball (Go Friars!). Fun fact: I can write with my left hand, but everything I write comes out as a perfect mirror image—a quirky talent that seems fitting for someone who enjoys seeing life from a different angle. Here’s hoping that talent helps me on the dance floor! I love to travel, paragluide, dive, and dance
