OUR MISSION
At Dance Studio One RI, we have spent years sharing our passion for dance with students of all ages, inspiring confidence, joy, and connection through movement.
Our love for this community extends beyond the dance floor — it drives our commitment to give back in meaningful ways.
In 2014, we launched our first Dancing with the Doctors gala to support community healthcare programs in Rhode Island.
Since then, this beloved annual event has raised $730,000, helping make quality healthcare accessible to those who need it most.
Through the power of dance and community spirit, we’re proud to help create healthier futures for our neighbors.

DANCING WITH THE DOCTORS
This event is part of Dancing for a Cause, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to supporting local community healthcare.
Get involved and support the cause by becoming an event sponsor, purchasing a program ad, attending the gala, entering our raffles, making a donation, or casting your vote for your favorite doctor
Doctors are paired with professional dance instructors, who coach, train, and choreograph show-stopping routines.
After 12 weeks of practice and rehearsals, pairs debut their performance at our gala showcase—each vying for the coveted Mirror Ball Trophy. Support your favorite doctor! Your vote counts!
Professional dance instructors and judges will evaluate and score technique, talent, entertainment value of each performance. Audience votes also play a crucial role in the final scores.
Trophies are awarded to one male and one female doctor in 3 categories: Most Technical, Most Entertaining, and People's Choice.
