Fun fact: I was on a jump rope team in 4th and 5th grade. We performed during the half-time shows at our local high school’s basketball games and at community events.
Mission: I love dancing! I love to watch it (especially Dancing With The Stars!) and I love to dance, even though my dance moves are usually limited to my kitchen with my kids. I am excited to learn to dance, to use dance to help reach fitness goals, and to come together with other doctors for a shared cause. As a pediatrician, I was particularly inspired by this year’s Dancing with the Doctors chosen cause, The Izzy Foundation. My work, taking care of children with medical complexity, is a daily reminder of the spirit and resiliency that children have. I hope that I can channel a child-like creative and fun approach to my Dancing with the Docs experience!
